A purpose built Activity centre set in open countryside in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan.
 
The Guide Association of Cardiff and East Glamorgan are pleased to announce the opening of
their new purpose built Activity Centre in the Vale of Glamorgan on the out­skirts of Cardiff.

CAEGLAS has been built with the aid of Lot­tery Funding to provide a modern residential
facility for both indoor and outdoor living.
The centre is available, to the Guide Asso­ciation and all other organisations,
local or national throughout the year.                                                                                          

 
The centre is situated in a quiet rural loca­tion with full on site parking.
The accom­modation block has central heating and is fully fitted out.

What can CAEGLAS offer?                                                                                                                             

CAEGLAS is set in three quarters of an acre of ground, with woodland on two sides
and open fields on the other sides with excellent opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in
a comfortable and peaceful setting.  

The centre includes:
                                                                                                                                               
          •              6 Bedrooms sleeping 32 people in                                                                                         
                          bunk beds, one with ensuite.                                                                                                          

         •               Shower and toilet facilities.                                                                                                                   

         •               Fully equipped commercial kitchen.                                                                                                    

         •               Large activity area with tables and chairs.                                                                                         

         •               Camping field for approximately 30                                                                                                  
                          people with independent shower                                                                                                  
                          and toilet facilities and activity                                                                                                     
                          room within the main building.
